Gill said he plans to file antitrust and defamation lawsuits against Penn National and the jockeys who race there. After Gill’s Laughing Moon horse collapsed after a race last week, jockeys declared they wouldn’t ride in any race that had one of Gill’s horses, fearing for their safety.
